Oh goodness! Cinco de Mayo has been a pretty decent day.
My son and I got down to the two back rooms in our basement and cleaned them out. It only took a little over two hours to clear and sweep them. I wore a hat, work gloves and a mask. It's nasty down there. Tomorrow we'll bleach the floors. That should kill a bunch of yuck. After that, no more storage in that area. It should be OK with consistent ventilation.
I've got my son's help for the next two days, so I'm expecting to get quite a bit done around here. This is very good. It also means that I am sore and dirty, so ta-ta for now.
